New Construction and System Replacements — Done Right

A properly designed and installed HVAC system is the foundation of every comfortable, energy-efficient home. We serve general contractors on new builds and homeowners replacing aging systems — bringing the same craftsmanship and attention to detail to every project. We are fully licensed, insured, and experienced in all aspects of residential HVAC: system installs, gas line work, and venting.

Complete System Installs

Whether you’re replacing a 20-year-old system or choosing equipment for a brand-new home, proper sizing and installation are what separate a system that performs well for 20 years from one that causes problems in five. We perform Manual J load calculations — the industry standard — to correctly size every system we install.

An oversized system short-cycles, running in brief bursts that waste energy and fail to remove humidity properly. An undersized system runs constantly and still can’t maintain setpoint on the hottest and coldest days. A correctly-sized system runs longer, more efficient cycles, keeps humidity in check, and lasts longer. We don’t skip the math.

Central Split Systems

The most common configuration: a gas furnace or air handler paired with an outdoor AC unit or heat pump. Reliable, efficient, and the right choice for most Knoxville homes with existing ductwork.

Heat Pump Systems

Modern variable-speed heat pumps are efficient enough to serve as primary heating in our climate. Paired with a gas auxiliary in a dual-fuel configuration, you get the efficiency of a heat pump in mild weather and the power of gas on the coldest nights.

Package Units

All-in-one systems with all components housed in a single outdoor cabinet. Ideal for manufactured homes, homes without interior mechanical space, and certain commercial applications.

Ductwork Design and Installation

A correctly-designed duct system is the difference between a system that performs and one that never quite keeps up. We design, fabricate, and install complete duct systems, including trunk-and-branch, radial, and plenum systems depending on the application.

An important note on efficiency upgrades: when upgrading from an 80% to a high-efficiency 90%-plus furnace, your existing metal flue or masonry chimney cannot be reused — a new PVC vent system must be installed. If a water heater or other appliance shares that flue, it must also be rerouted or relined. We handle the complete changeover and ensure nothing is left venting improperly.

Replacement Planning

If your current system is over 12 to 15 years old, or if repair costs are approaching 50 percent of a new system’s price, replacement is usually the smarter long-term investment. We’ll provide an honest assessment and present multiple equipment options at different price points — including financing through approved lenders.

Every replacement project includes a free in-home consultation, EPA-compliant refrigerant recovery and disposal, all required permits and inspections, manufacturer warranties registered on your behalf at installation, and flexible financing options for qualifying homeowners.
